Friendly advice on careers at Cumbernauld College

Lanarkshire’s Working, in partnership with Cumbernauld College, is hosting a Jobs Fair on June 3rd, 2008, to help people in North Lanarkshire find long term employment.

The Jobs Fair has been designed to appeal to a wide range of people currently looking for work, whether they are considering a career change, are just about to complete a college course or have recently been made redundant.

A number of local employers will be attending, including I-Response, Kwik Fit Insurance and Care To Assist, as well as agencies including Jobcentre Plus and Career’s Scotland, all of which will be able to offer valuable advice to help people find the perfect job for them.

Lynn Gow, Engagement Officer of Lanarkshire’s Working, said: “The Jobs Fair is an ideal opportunity for people in North Lanarkshire to explore all the options available to them and perhaps find out about a career they have never considered before.

“There are several local employers attending the Fair who are currently recruiting as well as qualified careers advisers who can provide all the information people need to get them back into employment.”

The Jobs Fair will take place at ‘The Street’ within the main entrance at Cumbernauld College from 10am until 7pm, on Tuesday, June 3rd.
