Kicking unemployment is the goal at Motherwell Football Club

A group of Lanarkshire families have spent their summer getting ready to give unemployment the red card with the help of Motherwell Football Club.

A training programme called Fit for Your Family's Future was launched by North Lanarkshire's Working in partnership with the club on 20th July.

Open day opens doors to contact centre career

North Lanarkshire residents had the chance to find a job in one of the area's growth industries at an Open Day on Wednesday, 7th July.

Carers offered support to return to work

Carers in North Lanarkshire are encouraged to seek support to help them return to work. North Lanarkshire's Working is issuing this call as part of National Carers Week (w/c 14th June).

Personal Development Programme Information Events

Following the success of their Personal Development Programme (PDP) pilot course at Kirkshaws earlier this year and one currently being delivered in Forgewood, Community Learning and Development are holding information recruitment events for their autumn courses which will allow potential participants to find out more about the course.
